Future Workplace Names Dan Schawbel as New Partner and Research Director

Fast Growing Executive Development Firm Strengthens Resources

New York, NY – November 5th, 2015 – Future Workplace ( announced today that Dan Schawbel has joined the firm as a Partner and Research Director, to add greater value to the Fortune 500 members of the 2020 Workplace Network and to further develop custom research on the Future of Work. Schawbel joins after Future Workplace acquired his HR research membership site,, which provides a comprehensive body of research on workplace insights to help HR practitioners make better business decisions.

Dan, a Millennial, brings a unique background and experience, ranging from writing New York Times bestselling career books, consulting for Fortune 500 companies, speaking globally on workplace related issues, and appearing regularly on national TV programs as the “voice of the Millennials.” Dan has conducted more than two dozen workplace research studies, interviewed over 1,500 people, spoken at over 100 conferences, and appeared in over 1,200 global media outlets. Recently, Dan was named to both the Inc. and Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30 lists, the Business Insider 40 Under 40 list, and BusinessWeek cites him as someone entrepreneurs should follow.

Schawbel will be co-hosting, with Future Workplace Partner Kevin Mulcahy, The Future of Learning & Working conference from March 1st to 2nd at the Microsoft Technology Center in Los Angeles, California. The conference brings together HR and learning executives from companies such as Panasonic Avionics, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Corning, Cisco, and McKinsey. At the conference, Schawbel will be releasing the first of many Future Workplace studies focused on the expectations of Millennials and he will moderate a multiple generation panel with industry practitioners.
